WD Passport Portable Drives in New Colors

Western Digital (WD) has announced additions to its range of WD Passport Portable drives, available in colors like red, black, and white.
These drives are designed with rounded corners and a textured, non-slip rugged protective case. These drives are also light and easy to carry. They can be used for carrying files and e-mail or just sharing large files, as well as back up for notebooks.
The Passport Portable drives have the plug-n-play feature; therefore no prior installation software is required to run them. Also, they don't require a power adapter as they're energized directly through the USB cable. Combined with the easy-to-set-up, customizable WD Sync software, these also help you search your drive, manage photos, and simplify Web searches with included Google software.
Sharad Srivastava, director sales (India and South Asia) of Western Digital said, "WD Passport Portable drives are the next generation drives that will help you carry your entire digital portfolio with you in a package small enough to slip into a pocket and stylish enough to display on a desktop, thus making it the ultimate personal storage device."
WD Passport Portable Drives are available through select WD distributors in India. The drives are also available at select retail stores and online retailers.
The suggested retail price for the 3 different capacities of these drives is: Rs. 8,000 for WD Passport 250GB, Rs. 5,500 for WD Passport 160GB, and Rs. 4, 500 for WD Passport 120GB.
