XFX Aims to Strengthen Brand Thro Decor Contest

Graphic card manufacturer XFX has launched a 'XFX Shop Decor Contest' to strengthen its brand position in Indian market. The contest will be held on an all-India basis and valid from May 1, 2006 to May 30, 2006.
The contest is open to all XFX resellers/channel partners/retail stores.
Explaining the objective of the contest, Sunny Narain, senior sales manager, said, "XFX is world's leading graphic card brand in retails sales, at XFX we understand the importance of branding. This contest will allow the resellers on two ways: firstly, the d cor will help the resellers to attract more customers and, secondy, the decoration contest will help XFX and the resellers to further strengthen the XFX brand position in this market. The unique X-shaped packaging will help the buyer to relate to extreme gaming experience."
To cover the most creative and dynamic decoration and to reward maximum number of partners, there will be three main categories to compete in namely, Maximum POP used, Most Innovative POP used and Weekly Re-decoration. The partners have to simply display XFX graphic card and install XFX POP. To claim and compete, the partner has to send at least three different pictures displaying POP provided by the national distributor Rashi Peripherals.
Kapal Pansari, business manager at Rashi Peripherals, said, "We are confident of a huge participation of channel partners in the contest. To facilitate the display and to provide in-shop POP to the partners, XFX has come out with a range of attractive and innovative POPs. The pop kit will be available with all the branches by the end of April."
The winners of the contest will be awarded free graphic cards. The cards to be won will be in range of from Rs 3,000 to Rs 7,500.
Partners will have to register and enroll themselves under the XFX Decor contest and they will be required to keep the POP and XFX retail box on display for a continuous period of 25 days.
