Xenitis Ties Up With Tally to Offer Office Bundle

By Shantheri Mallaya
Bangalore, Mar 6, 2006

Kolkata-based Xenitis Infotech has entered into an agreement with Tally Solutions to offer a 'complete Business PC Bundle', comprising its Aapna desktop, Intel Celeron D2.53 GHz, Tally's VAT-compliant 7.2, Windows XP Starter Edition (Hindi), Sify's 100-hour internet package. The bundle offer is aimed at SOHO and the small retail segment.

The Xenitis bundle is being offered at an approximate price of Rs 19,000, and will be financed by ICICI "Office Equipment Loans" on a low-interest installment basis.

This tieup comes about three months after the Tally-Millennium partnership.

Indrajit Sarkar, country manager, products and R&D, Xenitis, said, "The Office Bundle will come into effect in about a week from now. We are addressing the solutions space, and Intel played the 'matchmaker' for us, since we are one of their OEM partners. This tieup with Tally enables the customer to get the complete solution at a very competent rate, i.e., at least Rs 6, 000 less than what would have been available to him if he were to buy the components of the bundle separately."

Sarkar added that the VAT-enabled standalone Xenitis bundle would be primarily targeted at the pharmacies, groceries and the small retailers.

"Tally has about 16,000 dealers and Xenitis about 1,200 dealers. This would enable us to take the solutions much faster to the target markets. Another benefit to the customer would be the training and support provided by both Tally and Xenitis. Customers can even approach the local TASC for any clarification or software support," Sarkar said.

Xenitis is currently talking to the Indian Pharmacies Association to help reach out to all the registered pharmacies across the country. Customers can also update their inventory management modules through the Association, Sarkar informed.

Customers who buy the bundle will also benefit from the Tally-ICICI Lombard Insurance cover, subject to the conditions of the offer.

Sarkar said, "The motive of this Office Bundle offer is to pass on the OEM benefits completely to the customer. The program may evolve to include networking upgrades to the customer at a later date."
What do you think of Xenitis' bundle offer?

Sir, This is a good idea. Also it will be very helpful for the Tally users if you provide our software along with this. Our softwares can be used to access Tally very easily and makes tally very simple to use. Thanking you Joby Paul

Dear Mr.David of DVD systems of Kollam,Let me introduce my self as M/s Essar Infotech who is The Kerala State Distributor for Xenitis.I'm happy to inform you that we've already supplied 150 machines for Akshaya Project at Kollam & 250 Machines for Akshaya Project at Thrissur.Mr.David I believe you were not in Kollam at That point of time or you were misguided by someone else. There is a saying that goes"Those grapes which are not ours will taste sour",i believe that's what has happend with this case. We' re already supplying 500-600 machines a month in Kerala Market. And for your Kind Information Xenitis has one of the most experienced ,Strongest & Dedicated Sales & Service Setup which is very competitive to any other brand. We have almost areound 150 Channel Partners doing business with Xenitis in Kerala. Can you beat the heat!!!!!!!!.No wonders that there are lousy comments against such a company because as i said earlier Mind you they are hardly One year old in Kerala Market & They are doing wonders & are beating the figures of many competitors in market who are 10-15 years experienced in the same Market.IMAGINE THE PACE!!!!!.Those grapes which are not ours will taste sour"No wonders that there are lousy comments against such a company because as i said earlier.Give them a little bit time,i'm sure they will be the number one in kerala.

IN KERALA MARKET XENITIS IS A BIG ZERO. DON'T WRITE FOOLISH AND MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE YOU. DO YOU KNOW THE SALES FIGURE OF HCL? ZENITH? ACER? COMPAQ? LENOVO? BETTER COME OUT THE LOUSY BRAND AND FEEL THE MARKET BEFORE THEY CLOSE DOWN.

Dear Ranjith, Please contact your dealer Penguin systems, Kollam and resellers in and around Kollam , they will tell you the truth. I am once again quoting what I said before Xenitis could not deliver even 30 machines and put every one into trouble. The sales turn over of Xenitis is less than that of any sub distributor in Cochin. It may be true that Xenitis is selling 500-600 pieces in a year. But not any distributor in Kerala.

Dear friends, Please don't fall in their trap.Xenitis dealers took order for around 100+ machines for the Akshaya project in Kollam district Kerala. It is pitty that they could not deliver even 30 machines and put every one into trouble. There was no response from any of their managers or the dealer.

When we have DAS and DAS working with this company they can only cheat. He says that the lorryy is getting unloaded!!! to deliver the system today and next day the same news No delivery of systems. Then i understand that they only get lorrys and trucks to their goeown and unload them... May be they are trying to stock Lorries before they venture into Mobikes. Can any one tell them how to convert a Moped as a Bike and sell it as Bike.
