Xerox India, which rolled out its 'Momentum' series of reseller engagement activities in Jaipur on June 18, announced the appointment of a new sub-distributor, Kanchan Computech, for distribution of Xerox s Office range of products (mono & color laser printers and multifunctional devices) in Rajasthan.
Xerox's Momentum 2007 meet activities include appointing new channel partners, certification of all authorized partners and also conducting partner meets across 20 B & C class cities.
Speaking at the reseller meet in Jaipur, Jose Leon, senior marketing manager, channel programs, Xerox India, said, "Jaipur is an important market for Xerox and we had received huge response from 'Momentum 2006' from this city. To further enhance our presence in this market, we have partnered with Kanchan Computech, a household name in Rajasthan. We will be leveraging Kanchan Computech s established network to market Xerox s Office product range and in return will offer profitable returns making it a win-win situation for both the companies."
Added Leon, "We enjoy a great relationship with Rajasthan Computers Traders Association (RCTA) and look forward to their continued support to strengthen our presence in Rajasthan and offer strong value proposition to our channel partners and end consumers."
'Momentum 2007' has been designed to serve as an extended platform to engage new IT resellers and also to communicate Xerox's value proposition and the benefits of partnering with Xerox, which includes aggressive advertisement & promotion support, market development funding and customized collaterals and marketing events, the company said.
