Xerox Rolls Out Activities for Channel

Xerox India rolled out Momentum 2007, a series of reseller engagement activities. This unique initiative allows the vendor to interact with its channel and discuss its existing and future IT channel perspective and product portfolio for India.

According to Xerox, the agenda of Momentum 2007 is to interact with new IT resellers and conduct a series of training and informative programs to educate them on a gamut of products that include equipments, consumables and paper.

Activities such as appointing new partners, certification of all authorized partners and also conducting partner meets across 20 B and C class cities are a part of Momentum 2007.

Says Andrew Horne, managing director, Xerox India, "In Momentum 2006, we were able to interact with around 1,500 and more resellers conducting business in A and A plus cities. It also served as a platform for Xerox to showcase its products and demonstrate its value proposition to its channel."

Elaborating on this year's activities, Andrew added, "Momentum 2007 is initiated to further strengthen our presence in B and C class cities. It will facilitate a better vendor-partner relationship by providing our resellers with opportunities to expand their customer base and increase their profitability."

Xerox will be conducting channel activities in cities like Amritsar, Aurangabad, Guwahati, Vijaywada, Dehradun and Varanasi among many others.

It will also help the partners to understand the vendor's aggressive advertisement and promotion support, market development funding and customized collaterals and marketing events.

i think these kind of programs help those sales officers who are new to this business by providing them a proper produt knowledge
