Zebronics Selects Chennai, Mumbai For Demo Centers

Catching up with the fast growing trend of demo centers among the IT channel community, Top Notch Infotronix, the brand owner of Zebronics, will launch exclusive Zeb Zones in Chennai and Mumbai.
"We will have the first Zeb Zone in Chennai in January spanning across over 1,000 square feet area, while the second one will come in Mumbai soon after," Rajesh Doshi, director, Top Notch Infotronix, told ChannelTimes.
The Zeb Zones will be like any other demo center exclusively dedicated for Zebronics and other distribution products other than graphic-related products that Top Notch deals in. "These are not sales outlets, but an initiative to support the distributor and resellers who sell Zebronics products. The dealers can either send or bring their customers to experience the mid- and high-end products," Doshi said. The company will, however, set up a dedicated graphic cards related zone in association with Nvidia in Chennai by February 2007.
Dwelling on the company's future plans, Doshi said in 2007 it will also get into distribution of major global IT brands while "maintaining our dominance in chassis and graphic business".
Zebronics already has 11 service centers in the country and expects to take this number to at least 15 by the year end. The company claims to have recorded more than 100 percent growth for the last two years and hopes to achieve the same in 2007 too.
On the resurgence of regional players as against the national distributors, Doshi drew an analogy with national politics and said like political outfits many regional distributors also have enough opportunities now to grow beyond their respective regions.
The company has 10 branches and a network of 1,000 channel partners.
