Zotac International, a manufacturer of Nvidia-based graphics cards, has expanded its GeForce 9600 GSO lineup with three new models - the GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB, GeForce 9600 GSO 1GB and GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB AMP! Edition.
Drawing power from 48 screaming-fast stream processors, the new trio of graphics cards will deliver phenomenal visuals and fast frame-rates in the latest 3D games, the company said. Powered by Nvidia's flexible unified architecture, the 48 stream processors are programmable to take on any tasks.
"The new ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GSO trio offers a perfect blend of price and performance, delivering great value to gamers and casual users. Our ZOTAC GeForce AMP! Edition features the best tuning available. Zotac is able to extract more performance from the GPU compared to our competitors. The Zotac GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB AMP! The 512MB AMP! Edition features fine-tuning to extract every extra ounce available from the graphics processor and high-speed GDDR3 memory for a fast-paced and highly detailed gaming experience. Nvidia CUDA technology enables the series to function as more than just a 3D accelerator for the latest Microsoft DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.1 games. The technology transforms the series into a high-performance processor capable of speeding up video encoding tasks and complex mathematical calculations.
Nvidia PhysX technology empowers the series with realistic physics capabilities, and provides real-time physics calculations for realistic visual and environmental interaction effects. Nvidia PureVideo HD technology transforms the series into a high-definition video processor capable of delivering vivid high-definition video playback smoothly without relying on the system CPU.
