Zotac Intros DisplayPort Compatible Graphics Cards

Zotac International, a manufacturer of Nvidia-based motherboards and graphics cards, has expanded its DisplayPort-equipped graphics card lineup with two new models - the Zotac GeForce 9400 GT DP and 9500 GT DP.
As per a company communique, the new GeForce 9400 GT DP and GeForce 9500 GT DP feature complete DisplayPort support for DisplayPort compatibility in Microsoft Windows Vista and XP operating systems. These cards can also display pre-OS boot procedures, including the system BIOS, to DisplayPort displays for a seamless transition to DisplayPort technology.
"DisplayPort technology is the future for display connectivity. As more DisplayPort equipped displays become available at affordable prices, users will need graphics cards to drive the displays. Our new Zotac GeForce 9400 GT DP and GeForce 9500 GT DP provide users with an affordable solution to take advantage of DisplayPort equipped displays," said Carsten Berger, Marketing Director, Zotac International.
Nvidia's GeForce 9400 GT graphics processor powers the GeForce 9400 GT DP for high-performance. The GeForce 9400 GT graphics processor features 16 blazing-fast stream processors powered by Nvidia's unified architecture.
An Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT graphics processor forms the heart of the GeForce 9500 GT DP. The GeForce 9500 GT graphics processors empowers the GeForce 9500 GT DP with 32 screaming-fast stream processors backed by Nvidia's unified architecture. The 32 screaming-fast stream processors are joined by 512MB of high-speed GDDR3 graphics memory. The high-speed GDDR3 graphics memory connects to the powerful GeForce 9500 GT graphics processor via wide 128-bit memory interface to constantly feed the graphics processor data for high-performance in the latest DirectX 10, OpenGL 2.1 3D games and Nvidia CUDA enabled applications.
Additionally, multiple video output connections enable these cards to support all digital display types such as DVI and HDMI. HDCP compliant outputs (DVI, HDMI and Display Port) enable them to view protected digital content such as high-definition Blu-ray disks.
