Zotac International has appointed Mumbai-based Vardhaman Technology as its system integrator for its ION platform. As per the company, the platform is ideal for notebooks, nettops, netbooks, small form factor and all-in-one PCs.
 
Deepak Gupta, Country Manager (India), Zotac International, said, "We had launched the ION platform in May 2009. Currently, we are in the process of scouting for large SIs and white box assemblers. We have signed up with Vardhman for ION platform as they offer Micro Power PC, Micro PC and Black PC, and also ultra small desktop based on Intel Atom. We will add more such SIs, and will have tie-ups with local assemblers. However, our partners can buy the ION platform from Top Notch."

"We are looking at corporate, SOHO and retail market segments largely with this product," he said.
