ZyXEL Expands Unified Security Gateway Family

ZyXEL Communications, a broadband access solutions provider, has expanded its family of Unified Security Gateway (USG) products by introducing ZyWALL USG 100 in the Indian market. Rishi Samadhia, executive director-channel, ZyXEL Technologies India, said, "ZyXEL USG products are just not the integrated security products, but a complete communication and bandwidth solution for the branch office, regional office, SME customers, etc. India has a large number of SME customers, which offers huge potential from the USG products perspective."
"More than the traditional UTMs, ZyWALL USG series products have integrated IPSec VPN (starting 25 tunnel till 2000 tunnel) and SSL VPN (starting 2 tunnel till 750 tunnel) technologies to allow the establishment of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for SMB and mid to large-sized businesses. The application patrol, for managing the use of IM/P2P applications and HA (High Availability) features, provide a new level of security for all businesses needs," said Pinaki Chatterjee, executive director-technical, ZyXEL Technologies India. ZyWALL USG products come up with multiple WAN settings from Dual WAN to Hex WAN. In addition to this, you may even integrate Dual 3G adapter as WAN on the same product. Within all theses WAN, you can configure load balancing and failover. ZyWALL USG products offer perfect peace of mind with 99.99% uptime for your internet connection, the company claims.
ZyWALL USG 100 is available at ZyXEL regional distributors including USHA Infotech for major cities like Delhi, UP and Haryana in North India and Ransys Bios for Tamilnadu. It is priced at Rs.62, 000 (Market Customer Price).
