Information Technology major IBM has honored eSys India with the "Best Distribution Partner" award for volume business of X Series Server.
The award was conferred on eSys for its performance for the year 2007 at IBM's Annual Business Partner CEO kickoff meet in Banglore.
The event highlighted the company's new efforts and missions it intends to move on with. It was also aimed at strengthening IBM's bonding with its partners.
Said Vakul Bhatnagar, GM-value division of eSys Information Technologies, "This award signifies our commitment and focus in distributing IBM's products nationally. Our approach towards all the IBM schemes has always been positive. IBM policies are always channel oriented and rewarding enough to keep our sales ticking across all regions. IBM takes care of the channel profitability and eSys will always respond to such initiatives by IBM in future."
eSys said its growth has been pan-India and attributed this success to the following factors. Firstly, IBM's world-class technology product at value-for-money price tags addressing all segments of cutomer space. Secondly, its pro-channel approach resulting in stable partner base taking the products to end-users. Thirdly, IBM's strong initiative in SMB space, which is as of now fastest growing market in India, and all these backed up by a strong service support across India.
"eSys has been a very proactive conduit in taking IBM schemes to channels and ensuring product availability at all times across all locations. We have leveraged on IBM spread to maximize the sales by bringing in a lot of new partners to the table," added Bhatnagar.
eSys started IBM Volume server business in year 2005.
