By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Nov 23, 2009 1811 hrs IST

To establish its presence in the Indian netbook market, iBall recently launched Li'l Book for just Rs 14,999.

Sharing more information on the launch, Sandeep Parasrampuria, director, iBall, said, "Currently, netbooks are becoming more popular in the Indian market. It is affordable, lightweight and impressive, which makes it more acceptable to the people easily."

iBall currently has 1,500 partners on board for the iBall products and claims to touch base with more partners for the netbooks.

"We believe in moving with channel partners and trying to reach out to them who are specifically interested in the netbook segment. It is basically a channel-based company and the shipments of the products have already begun. We are sure to hit the corporate vertical with Li'l Book because they are always on the move and with Li'l book it will be an added factor," said Parasrampuria.

iBall Li'l Book weighs 1060 gm and has button-less touch pad with dotted texture, and specifically designed small power adapter for easy portability. It also features a magnetically lit switch control for system standby/resume, integrated 3-in-1 card reader, 3G module.

iBall Li'l Book offers low power consumption and provides a five-hour back-up time with six-cell battery and three hours on three-cell battery under ideal testing conditions.
