iBall Introduces Take Note Digital Notepad

iBall, a premier brand for desktop computing products, has launched the cordless, lightweight iBall Take Note, the first of its kind digital notepad in India.
iBall Take Note uses the ordinary paper and a ball point pen to write. It digitally records all the notes, ideas, drawings, sketches and flow charts in the pad's built-in 32 MB flash memory. Take Note digitally captures and stores everything one writes and draws on a paper, and is not required to be connected to a PC while being used.
The captured files can be downloaded onto a PC or a laptop. The downloaded files may be edited, modified, colored, converted to text, etc. Users can also save it as a book file or an individual file. The notes so downloaded can be easily emailed. The built-in 32 MB Ram can store over 150 pages.
This package includes a software with which users can easily edit and organize all their digital notes. Bundled with it is MyScript software (a 30-day trial version) free of cost.
Sandeep Parasrampuria, director, The Best IT World, said, "iBall Take Note will be distributed through our existing channel and will be available with the dealers in Mumbai from today onwards and in the rest of the country within the next five to seven days through our 18 offices across the country."
The digital notepad is ideal for business executives, consultants, secretaries, sales people, journalists, designers, engineers, doctors, architects, professionals and students. It is also well-suited for a variety of vertical segments viz., educational institutions, medical, financial markets, real estate, security, legal, military, government and other industries.
iBall Take Note is available at an MRP of Rs 9,900 and comes with a one-year warranty.
iBall has products under 12 different categories namely, mouse, keyboards, speakers, headsets, cabinets, MP3 players, pen drives, optical disk drives, pen tablets, laptops, USB hubs and other devices.
According to the company, iBall is growing at almost 50 percent every year and its business for the year ended March 2006 was about Rs 150 crore.
