Delhi-based Unistal Systems, engaged in data care, has announced it's planning to expand its channel network. The expansion is for its educational programs in e-learning mode.
Alok Gupta, director-marketing, Unistal Systems, said, "According to IDC estimates, the demand for information security professionals in India is going to shoot up from 16,000 now to 77,000 by 2008. Our courses will help bridge the demand-supply gap. This training-software synergy is more like a hospital being attached to a medical college."
The new courses are the advanced "Data Recovery Professional Course", of one-month duration and the "Data Care Professional Course" of three-month duration. Both the advanced courses include practical training on software and an online examination. Participants are also awarded with a certificate at the end of the course in recognition of the skills acquired, considerable discounts on the software purchased, technical assistance for a year, assistance in setting up a data center, and registration as a member of the technical forum.
These courses are for data recovery tasks and are targeted at individuals and organizations specializing in security consultancy and business continuity. The participants also have an option of becoming an entrepreneur and partner with Unistal Systems for data recovery services as well. For corporates who need to train executives, the course includes workshops and management development programs.
The e-learning franchise centers should have experience in IT domain, an infrastructure of 10 computers and Internet connection. The franchise partners are provided one-time training for staff, practical training on software, marketing support, implementation assistance and ample technical support.
The courses have been launched in DAV College for Women and Gurunanak College for Women, Yamuna Nagar in Haryana. The courses have also been launched in the Degree Colleges of Rohtak, Bangalore and Panvel (Mumbai).
