Zyxel Communications Corp., a global DSL router provider, has unveiled its P-320W 802.11g 4-in-1 firewall router designed for home users.
With comprehensive wired/wireless security mechanism and hassle-free user interface, the new P-320W is a cost-effective choice for home users seeking uncomplicated Internet connectivity and easy-to-use router features, the company said.
According to Milind Kamat, principal consultant-India, Zyxel Communications Corp., "In response to prevalent network threats, Zyxel P-320W sports powerful SPI firewall and 4-port switch for secure internet surfing and broadband sharing; and it allows VPN pass-through to provide safe access to internet. In addition, the built-in IEEE 802.11g Access Point offers wireless connectivity to users with roaming devices."
"Setting up the wireless security on Zyxel P-320W is surprisingly easy, thanks to the Zyxel-exclusive OTIST ('One-Touch' Intelligent Security Technology) design that activates data encryption between Zyxel P-320W and OTIST-capable wireless cards by simply pressing a button on the router," said Austin Huang, market development manager, Zyxel Communications Corp.
The 64/128-bit WEP key, WPA and 802.1X WiFi encryption and authentication schemes also ensure stringent wireless security that protects personal or private information on home networks by blocking unauthorized or unknown users from sharing internet connection.

I recently had to reinstall a new hard drive on my laptop. I am using the ZyXEL router and I am being asked for the NETWORK KEY. How do I locate this key. I am also using it on my PC, which is working fine. |
