HP Unveils New Presario Desktop Range

Hewlett-Packard announced the launch of its new range of Presario desktops for the entry-level user.
The series has two configurations, the Compaq Presario SG1005IL priced at Rs 17,990 and the Compaq Presario SG1008IL priced at Rs 19,990.
The SG1005IL has an Intel Celeron D Processor 335 (2.8 GHz), while the SG1008IL desktop has an Intel Pentium 4 Processor (2.4 GHz). Both desktops are equipped with an Intel 845GV chipset and 128 MB memory, which can be expanded to 2 GB with a discard. There is also a 512KB Integrated L2 Advanced Transfer cache memory. The hard drive is a 40 GB Ultra DMA ATA hard drive. The desktops come with Intel Extreme Graphics and a Network Card. FreeDOS and Norten Internet Security software are pre-loaded onto the desktops. The monitor is a 15-inch color CRT monitor.
The company is offering exciting bundles on purchase of these desktops. To begin with, as a launch offer, a DeskJet 3920 printer at a discounted price is being offered with purchase of the SG1008IL desktop.
