Harsh Manglik to Drive Accenture's India Operation

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Sep 29, 2006

Accenture, the global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, has appointed Harsh Manglik chairman and managing director for its operations in India with immediate effect.

Having over 25 years' experience as a global business and consulting leader, Manglik will be Accenture's senior leader in India, responsible for the growth and development of its business across all of the company's Indian operations.

Manglik was previously the worldwide vice president, services solutions engineering, where he was responsible for the development of the company's new service offerings. He also worked with IBM Global Services for almost 10 years in the US, Asia-Pacific and global leadership roles.

Speaking of his appointment, Manglik remarked on the company's culture of combining innovation, teamwork and global scale to deliver high performance to its clients.

Manglik graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He also holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
What are the new challenges before Harsh Manglik?
