As
the Director and General Manager of Canon
India’s Consumer Imaging & Information
Division (CIID) & Volume Products, Bharadwaj
is responsible for building the Canon ‘Brand’
and growing the company’s sales and
channel infrastructure in India.
An industry
veteran, Bharadwaj
has over 17 years of experience in brand
building, sales force management, building
of distribution channel and consumer marketing
in India and has taken several short term
marketing assignments in various parts of
the world.
Prior
to joining Canon, Bharadwaj had worked with
Motorola’s Paging and Cellular division
from 1994 – 2001 as the ‘Head
of Channels’ for India and SAARC.
At Motorola Bharadwaj was selected for the
GOLD (Global Organization Leadership Development)
program where a select group of 20 managers
from different Motorola subsidiaries were
chosen for leadership development. Before
that, Bharadwaj had put in a six-year stint
with the Appliance division at Usha International,
where he was the Marketing Manger. This
shift to consumer marketing came after Bharadwaj
had started his career and worked for four
years with Voltas as a sales manger for
its Northern region. |
