The research firm says that PC shipments will grow 4.4 percent in 2012 as the market plays catch up in bringing a new level of innovation that consumers want to see in devices they purchase.
This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40 percent or about seven times that of the overall information and communications technology (ICT) market, says IDC.
The new initiatives are part of the Brocade Alliance Partner Network program designed to reward existing partners that offer campus LAN solutions, as well as attracting new ones.
