Mumbai: The Mumbai based Association of System Integrators and Retailers in Technology (ASIRT) recently launched its new chapter in Thane and celebrated its flagship event ‘Tech day’ at the Thane unit. The event was attended by the major SI partners in Thane and Navi Mumbai, the cities that are rapidly emerging as the next big IT business hub after Mumbai.


The aim of the event was to give information to partners about the various initiatives of ASIRT. ASIRT board members gave presentation on various technology tools that could help partners to bring efficiency and increase productivity in their respective businesses.

ASIRT founder member Bharat Jethani gave an in-depth presentation on benefits of social networking and how ASIRT helps the SIs in achieving their business goals. ASIRT mentor and former president Chetan Shah explained how various programs of the association would help SI in scaling their business.

Talking exclusively to Channel Times, Arvind Singh, president of ASIRT said that this years the association would focused on expanding its wings outside Mumbai and bring large SIs on board. He also said that the ASIRT would emphasis more on training and awareness and would keep updating its members on latest industry trends through its knowledge packed tech day and tech edge day series.

The event received overwhelming response from partners with over 100 SIs and retailers attending the event.
