Mumbai, Sep 29: Despite five bypass surgeries, what drove Chetan Shah of (Association of system integrators and retailers in Technology) ASIRT to cycle to world’s highest motorable pass in Ladakh was his determination.
In the same way, today’s fast evolving technology era requires one to show courage and take some amount of risks to stay competitive.
Chetan’s story took the centrestage at ASIRT Techday, titled, ‘Turning your life on Two Wheels’ here.
Apart from inspirational stories, there were some technology announcements too.

Chetan Shah, founding chairman of ASIRT, explained how 5 bypass surgeries never stopped him from cycling from Manali to world’s highest motorable pass in Ladakh, Khardung La. He narrated his motivational story of living life at his own terms, and about battling brain tumour, knee replacements and 5 bypass surgeries. He spoke of the travails of cycling to Ladakh, the steep climbs, lack of sufficient oxygen, and having to be airlifted to Delhi. Still, he stood strong.
