Anand Rao: CeBIT India is a leading IT exhibition in India and we are very happy to be associated with the show. With CeBIT India, FITDAK aims to show case the emerging opportunities in the areas of Internet Security, Data Security & Big Data through both the exhibitors & their global conferences. Today, the channel fraternity is well equipped to address the market related to high power computing gadgets (including Servers, Desktops, Laptops & mobile gadgets), Physical Security, high-end networking Cabling/Switching solutions, now both the SMB & Enterprise verticals face the challenges of both internet & Data Security. We feel that the channel fraternity has a lot to gain, in the above areas from CeBIT India 2015 & we forward to having more insight on Government’s initiatives on Digital India, Smart City evolution & Make in India opportunities.

What opportunities do you foresee for startups in IT industry?

Anand Rao : The Start-ups from the Channel look forward to networking with the exhibitors, showcasing both generic and new technologies and try for collaborating for both techno-commercial benefits. We expect Tier-2 & Tier-3 channels from the industry to benefit from the CeBIT India event.

What are challenges faced by IT dealers today?

Anand Rao: IT dealers today face the biggest challenge of tough competition from E-Commerce, which is predominantly practicing “Predatory pricing”. The E-tailers & their business dynamics are not regulated or monitored by the OEMs & rather the e-tailers are being pampered by OEMs for temporary business goals. OEMs have to realize that the IT explosion in terms of hardware & the solutions is net result of the hard work of brick & mortar business community that relentlessly supported the brands in popularizing their offerings. The threat of unfair aggression by e-tailers is causing nationally the imbalance in socio-economic scenario in hardware industry. With CeBIT India, we want to showcase our channel partner strength and highlight the relentless pursuit we make for hardware products in this industry.
