home » Cisco Kick-Starts Tech Roadshow from Mumbai
__p Cisco Systems is organizing a series of “Cisco Technology Briefings” on new intelligent switching and wireless networking across six cities in India for its customers and partners.
p____p The roadshow took off from Mumbai (January 22), and will be followed by Hyderabad (January 28), Chennai (February 3), Bangalore (February 6), New Delhi (February 27) and in Kolkata (March 4).
p____p These sessions aim at providing customers an insight into Cisco’s networking products, technology and solutions in its core switching as well as the advanced technology - wireless networking - areas.
p____p According to S. V. Ramana, vice president-systems engineering, Cisco Systems India & Saarc, “The focus for Indian business managers is on investing into future proof standards based, secure and manageable business-ready networks. Switching solutions that deliver converged voice, video and data are the backbone of this investment.”
p____p He added, “Wireless networking is one of the most exciting segments in the Indian IT market today that provides innovative and functional business solutions to enterprises and service providers. Cisco is showcasing its solutions to deliver the same level of security, scalability and manageability for wireless LAN connectivity that customers have come to expect in their wired LANs.’
p____p This showcase-cum-seminar will address the trend in the Indian networking market as well as exhibit and demonstrate how Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet switching solutions and wireless networking solutions are key technologies driving a high degree of adoption and replacement of older technologies such as hubs.
p____p In the roadshow, Cisco’s experts will also provide intensive technical overview of key networking technologies through live demonstrations.

its a nice action taken by Cisco but they should do seminar’s to enhance the productivity by inviting networking people in seminars by this u can force people about Cisco products with a positve approach but all depends on ur seminar’s Presentation.
