Mumbai: Citrix has appointed Craig Stilwell as vice president of worldwide partner strategy and sales to strengthen the company’s commitment to its partners, and their long-term success and profitability.
Stilwell has been with Citrix for 17 years and has a long history of sales and channel leadership, having served as vice president of Americas channel sales and field operations. His new position previously was held by Kimberly Martin, who is no longer with Citrix.
Most recently, Stilwell served as area vice president of the U.S. commercial business, responsible for all sales and products in the U.S. commercial segment.
In 2017, Stilwell will focus on three key priorities: leading a partner team focused on the enterprise market and increasing Citrix’s presence in the midmarket; transitioning to the cloud and the channel’s major role in moving from the premises to the cloud; and reducing the complexity of Citrix’s channel programs and making it easier for partners to do business with the company.
“Craig has more than 23 years of technology experience and, having spent the majority of his career at Citrix, knows our business extremely well,” Carlos Sartorius, executive vice president of worldwide sales and services, wrote in a blog.
At Citrix Summit, Jan. 9-11, in Anaheim, California, Stilwell and Citrix leadership will gather with partners to share news regarding strategy and go-to-market plans for digital business transformation in 2017.
