Citrix Systems, a provider of application delivery infrastructure, has appointed Redington India, a provider of IT products and support services, as its national value added distributor. Under this agreement, Redington will distribute all products in the Citrix portfolio across the country.

The partnership with Redington is a validation of the strong channel push by Citrix to increase their market share in India.

Citrix plans to add 100 new partners by the end of 2009. Redington will help Citrix reach out to newer markets across tier 2 cities and grow their current partner base of Citrix Solutions Advisors (CSAs) for the virtualization and application delivery products. Together, they will engage in several go-to-market activities, educate the partners and make them aware of the training and support initiatives from Citrix.
