Pune: Computer and Media Dealers Association (CMDA) Pune, one of the prominent associations in Maharashtra, recently concluded its first ever IT Conclave in the city. The Conclave was aimed at showcasing various business opportunities for partners in the software and services space.
CMDA Conclave Organizer Sarang Satarkar said, “Gone are the days of traditional business styles where consumers & corporates used to buy IT devices like PCs and Laptops and then make use of them for their purpose. Now the customer is looking at solutions from the IT companies to ease their businesses and IT devices have become a part of these solutions. So it is imperative for channel partners to understand the technology and propose a solution to the customer.”
IT big wings in the software space such as VMWare, Logitech, Salesforce, Quick Heal, HPE, Ricoh and Array Networks participated in the Conclave. The industry experts also talked about how channel partners could become an instrument in driving the entire transformation journey of customers and earn more revenues.
According to Sanjeev Pathare, president of CMDA, this IT Conclave was organized as pilot to test the feasibility of conducting an international standard IT Conclave in coming years.
“Like IT Conclave, CMDA has planned several new events which will benefit CMDA members to grow or enhance their business CMDA has been always working for development of IT in Pune and CMDA IT Conclave is one such new initiative to give insight in new technology trends , open window to new business opportunities which are emerging in IT market & take our business to new heights with increased margins”, he said.
CMDA has planned to organize its signature IT expo from 12th Jan to 16th Jan 2017. This will be 19th consecutive year for Pune’s exclusive IT trade show which showcases products and services in IT field.
