Kolkata, April 28: City-based IT association COMPASS is collecting the data of all the IT associations, vendors, distributor from across eastern region to come out with an IT directory for 2014.

The association is expected to complete the data collection and launched the directory before the new team of COMPASS take over later this year in the month of August, 2014.

“We have already initiated the process of data collection through online and will have third party data collection agency for this. The entire IT directory work will be managed and headed by Amit Sharma of COMPASS,” said Pawan Jajoidia, president, COMPASS.

The last directory was published by COMPASS in the year 2010. Now, after a four year gap, the association wants to provide a wider coverage to the IT companies of eastern India.

“We already have good amount of IT companies data, which we will be sending out to companies for any new changes and incorporate in the new directory.This directory will be published with new caliber and design that will help the industry and propel more growth prospects. With much more information and data, this directory will be a ready reckoner and a must for all people across various industries. It will be available in both hard copy as directory and also in soft copy,” added Jajodia.

It will include the IT Dealers, Vendors and Members listed in various IT associations across the entire Eastern India. We will involve all the IT associations of Eastern India to get data of their members and provide separate section for each association.
