TE Enterprise India innovation de-clutters Network Infrastructure Management

Bangalore, India – May 14, 2012: TE Enterprise Networks India has introduced a new Storage Area Management Solution (SAM) for network infrastructures. The SAM system is designed to reduce the bulkiness of cabling and connectors in the data center by up to 80% and enable high-density deployment with fewer costly cabinet or infrastructure upgrades.

The system’s sleek, high-density design reduces cable clutter and its bulkiness, making it easier to find switch and storage ports and verify the connections. SAM helps in optimizing the network performance and reduces the complexity of the data centre environment. Additionally, SAM also improves the airflow to server racks, allowing the racks to cool more efficiently. The solution also improves operational efficiencies and de-clutters one’s rack for a highly organized, eco-friendly network infrastructure.

SAM delivers operational efficiency to Storage Area Network (SAN) cabling is RoHS compliant and offers the following benefits: reduce floor footprint through rack and port consolidation, simplify and expedite port access, improve operational response time and increase rack space.
On the occasion, K.K. Shetty, Director - TE Enterprise & Telecom Networks, India and SAARC, said, “With our well-established reputation for understanding the Indian market scenario, we have gained immense confidence from our customers in infrastructure deployments. The SAM solution will add enhanced value to the existing SAN cabling; thereby helping our customers cut costs while driving better operational efficiencies. SAM will help in optimal utilization of time, rack space utilization and reduce the overall cost associated with power and cooling consumption.”

TE Enterprise Networks infrastructure solutions connect people and technology across office networks and data centers.
