Bengaluru, April 30: Security leader Fortinet recognized the executives working in partner organizations with ‘Forti Hero’ awards at a recent event. The security leader says it plans to create such events every quarter henceforth and wants to work closely with the 400 odd existing channel partners in the country.
Rajesh Maurya, country manager, SAARC, Fortinet said, “The theme of the event is ‘synergy’ which means working together and closer with the channel partners. Every organization gives away awards only to CEOs or MDs of partner organizations. However, we want to recognize the Fortinet product managers and executives who go out on field and help us reach out to our customers.” He also said that this process will continue in the coming days with awards and recognition being given away every quarter.
“Bringing the field-force into limelight has been a new concept. Working for Fortinet has always been a support for us,” said an award winner. “We welcome Fortinet’s concept of conducting synergy meetings every quarter. This will make the product managers know the current trends and get updated every now and then”, said V Anand, CEO, Raksha technologies, a partner of Fortinet who was present in the meeting.
The event also witnessed some key technology seminars and workshops on the current security trends and various Fortinet products.
