Mumbai, March 17: Motherboards manufacturer GIGABYTE Technology along with other IT hardware majors, is organizing a competition for PC lovers in Chennai on March 21.

The one-day event, named PC Extreme, will be held at the expansive retail outlet of Chennai-based The IT Depot, which also happens be a leading IT and electronic product e-retailer.

The highlights of PC Extreme, among others, will be a demo of extreme overclocking (OC), a PC assembling contest, an experience zone where you can try your hands at some of the best PC components available in the market, Facebook activities, lucky draws and also, prizes and gifts that include PC components and the choicest goodies.

Along with GIGABYTE Technology, the other brands participating in PC Extreme, AMD, Cooler Master and Adata.

Especially because the venue is Chennai, a city which boasts one of the highest customer base for high-end processors in India; and the host is IT Depot, which has a nation-wide reputation in the sales of high-end PC rigs. The prizes from GIGABYTE will be its motherboards, including GA-Z97N-WiFi and GA-H81M-DS2, along with a wide range of trendy goodies. Cooler Master’s prizes will include CM 693 cabinet, Devastator Bundle + mousepad, Alcor Mouse, and CMC3 cooling pad, among others. While AMD will offer its processors and graphic cards as prizes, Adata will provide its Gaming Series DRAM kits.
