__p Hewlett-Packard India has slashed the prices of its notebooks across all categories.

p____p This price reduction is a reflection of HP’s commitment to pass on the benefit of the duty cuts to the customer. The price drop will vary from 3 percent to 6 percent across various models, the company said in a press release.

p____p Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Swaminathan, vice-president, personal systems group, HP India, said, “Notebooks represent a high potential market experiencing an average annual growth of around 80 percent. We expect the Budget announcement to further accelerate the growth of this market.’

p____p The decision further enhances our commitment to make technology more affordable to the masses coupled with an attractive value proposition, he further added.
