Mumbai, July 1: The West chapter of ISODA organized a meet as the tenure of the current regional committee is coming to an end and discussed on their engagement with the newly-formed national level distributors’ association-TDAI.
Regional Secretary Jiten Mehta thanked the members and expressed his gratitude for supporting ISODA through the year by attending in large numbers, despite their busy schedules and invited members to come forward with the same enthusiasm to take up posts for RS and committee posts for West region in the forthcoming year.
Chairman of the association Nityanand Shetty gave members an insight in brief of the different activities done by the task force like TDAI/Tax Committee, He then called on the president Devesh Aggarwal and gen.secretary Manish Tandon, to furnish details to the members on the progress of engagement with TDAI and forthcoming AGM, which would be conducted in a two day format unlike the previous AGMs.
The President spoke about the discussions the ISODA’s distributor committee had with TDAI on regular issues faced by the members. Rajesh Kothari then gave a brief about the pre- budget meeting in Delhi with the revenue secretary and finance ministry.
The guest speaker Arun Gupta (CIO-Cipla) made a presentation on “How to sell to a CIO”, talking about the various aspects of sales & marketing. In spite of the vast experience of the audience, they were intrigued by his perspective and had many questions after the presentation which he answered enthusiastically.
