Lenovo Appoints New ED for Service and Support

Sudipto Ghosh will chart out new strategies for customer service

Bangalore, India: Lenovo India has appointed Sudipto Ghosh as Executive Director- Service and Support. Announcing this a news release said, the new ED will steer the Contact Center, Field Service, Service Business and Customer Delight functions for Lenovo India. Sudipto will develop the end-to-end customer service and support across the three business segments of consumer, relational and SMB.

Sudipto joins Lenovo with a wealth of experience in strategizing and managing the service operations for various companies. His area of expertise lies in setting up service provider networks, world-class contact centres, state-of-art repair centres, central support warehouses and all-in-one regional support warehouses.

On the appointment, Amar Babu, Managing Director, Lenovo India said “We are pleased to appoint Sudipto. He comes with a proven track record in leading the Service business. We continue to strengthen the management on the back of our strong success in the Indian market and want to sustain the momentum on our double digit market share. Sudipto will aggressively chart out clear cut service and support strategies and transformation to help us enhance customer service and customer delight in India.”

Prior to Lenovo, Sudipto has held senior roles such as Chief Customer Support Officer of Acer India, where he played a critical role in creating the company’s service infrastructure. His other successful stints have been with Compaq India, Pertech Computers Limited and Tata Steel.
