Launches a robust partner enablement program across 20 cities

Mumbai, July 12, 2012: NEC India, a leading display, network and IT solutions provider in an endeavor to strengthen its presence in India, has announced an all new, dynamic partner enablement program starting from July 2012. Designed to bring greater depth and breadth into the existing partner ecosystem and to cultivate new relationships, this new partner enablement program is a rigorous campaign including training, certification and appointing of new partners across 20 cities in India.

NEC’s partner network for display solutions has always played a significant role in strengthening its foothold in the market. In the last four years, NEC has added substantial breadth to its partner ecosystem, gaining a pan-India presence across 50 cities through National Distributors, where the number of vertical-focused AV System Integrators increased from 8 to 20, and the geographical spread of the company went up from 14 to a robust 40. NEC increased its depth by closely engaging with specialists in the government vertical and corporate direct sales.

Besides this, NEC has also invested in strengthening in its services capability and has added more than 60 service centers across the country to enhance customers’ experience of NEC’s technical support and service.

Announcing the program, Abhilesh Guleria, Country Head, Multimedia Product Group & IT Platforms Group, NEC India said, “Our vision is to drive the ONE NEC approach to empower our customers with holistic IT and networking solutions to meet their display, communication and security needs. With this vision in mind, our go-to-market strategy aims to strengthen and enable our partner ecosystem to deliver these solutions more effectively. We remain committed to educating and authorizing partners who share our passion and vision of empowering by innovation. With this new initiative, we strive to broaden our services footprint to enable managed services capability for large customers”.

After gaining strong foothold in the education vertical, NEC aims to develop inroads with government bodies to bring about greater adoption of display technologies, to broaden its horizon in India and look at catering to new verticals through establishing more relationships with specialized system integrators.
