In an effort to strengthen the delivery of relevant GPU computing solutions to professionals in India, NVIDIA has initiated an intensive channel development and training programme for its reseller partners.

The initiative aims to educate more than 500 channel partners including Quadro Preferred Partners, resellers and ISV/IHV VARs. The channel development road show will cover eight cities viz. Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore, said a company release.

Commenting on the Channel Development Programme, Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director, South Asia, NVIDIA, said that professionals across various industries face challenges in computing as data gets more complex and visuals become more sophisticated. These professionals include engineers designing prototypes of cars, digital artists delivering VFX and 3D animation for movies, architects creating 3D models of buildings or scientists exploring oil reserves, these professionals need graphics solutions that are fast and accurate.

“Simply using consumer graphics is not sufficient and this is where NVIDIA Quadro becomes relevant. This makes it necessary for us to support and empower our partners to deliver the right solutions to the right people at the right time,” Dhupar said.

Through the road show, NVIDIA will seek to increase awareness of the value proposition of its professional graphics solution, the Quadro line of graphics cards. The training programme will educate partners about the application of Quadro solutions in a professional environment, and also demonstrate how NVIDIA’s graphics cards deliver a superior visual computing experience to users.

The company will provide a hands-on demonstration of its 3D Vision Pro technology, including professional applications like CAD-CAM. Such training programmes are a quarterly initiative by NVIDIA and the eight city road show will be organized in collaboration with Rashi Peripherals.

“We are proud to offer graphics professionals Quadro by Leadtek through Rashi Peripherals. These kinds of sustainable activities by NVIDIA drive volume and help our business, as well as that of our customers, to reach a new level,” said Rajesh Goenka, Vice President, Rashi Peripherals Pvt. Ltd.
