Mumbai, Feb 26: Enhancing Engagement and with the objective to empower its members with the knowledge that strengthens the way new-age businesses are done, an IT association TAIT conducted a TAIT knowledge Series event here recently for the Channel Community with the three power packed sessions. The agenda of the event was ‘Overcoming business challenges in demanding environment’

The event had three sessions. The session on managing the business challenges in demanding environment was addressed by Ketan Patel former president of the association and CEO, Creative Peripherals.

Another was on debt Insurance by Umang Rathod of Origin on the best possible way to protect the business from the Debt. “To re-initiate TAIT’s role as Arbitrator to mediate, concile the business disputes, invited speaker Advocate Rakesh Jain brief the members on the scope of the arbitration. TAIT as Arbitrator is one of the milestone achieved by the TAIT,” said K R Chaube, president of the association.

Champakraj Gurjar was felicitated for being elected as the first president of FAIITA (Federation of the IT Associations of India). “We are not against selling a product online but against the unethical practices in it. It is the high time we should stand together to protect the interests of the channel fraternity,” Gurjar concluded.

Chaube also informed the board has entrusted the responsibility for the Channel empowerment activities to Rahul Zaveri as Channel Forum Chairman along with the board appointee members Mukesh Mehta, Vinod Vanigota and Kamal Kamdar.
