Mumbai, Dec. 15: Mumbai-based IT associations, TAIT and ASIRT have decided to support the national IT association’s federation to go ahead with the decision of refraining purchase of products from the national distributors to register their protest against unethical pricing.

FAIITA (Federation of All India IT Association) representing body of all India IT associations is in discussions with the vendors on predatory prices offered by e-commerce operators from last three weeks.

TAIT’s president K.R.Chaube said, “We support FAIITA and we stand by them to refrain from purchasing fresh stocks from December 15th 2014 from all National Distributors/brand-owners as a mark of protest on the inability of brand owners in stopping e-commerce portals.The detailed directives will be shared with the members soon.”

Association of system integrators and retailers in technology (ASIRT), in a message to their members has said that T1 channel partner will not purchase any material from OEMs, T2 / T3 / T4 channel partners will not purchase any material from any T1 partner or OEMs directly, T2 / T3 / T4 channel partners can do internal trade with each other with their own carried stock.
