8GB aXeRam™ DDR3-2400 and DDR3-2133 are suited for heavy duty applications

Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend), a worldwide leader in storage and multimedia products, is pleased to announce the arrival of two additions to their aXeRam Overclocking Memory Module product line. The new 8GB aXeRam™ DDR3-2400 and DDR3-2133 memory kits combine high capacity, high clock speed and exceptionally low voltage, to meet the strict performance requirements of 3D PC gaming and heavy-duty applications.

Maximum Performance
Featuring built-in support for the latest Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) version 1.3, Transcend’s new aXeRam DDR3 DRAM modules allow both novice and advanced users to take advantage of instant overclocking on the third-generation Intel® Core™ “Ivy Bridge” series of processors. With 8GB of total capacity (2 x 4GB), a clock frequency of 2400MHz (PC3-19200) and timings of 11-12-11-29, the DDR3-2400 kit provides excellent stability at high clock speeds and voltage of just 1.65V. The 8GB DDR3-2133 kit contains two identically matched DDR3-2133 modules rated at a clock frequency of 2133 MHz (PC3-17000) with timings of 10-11-10-27 and lower than average operating voltage of 1.6V.
