Trend Micro introduces channel-friendly Worry-Free Business Security Services through a new subscription-based, hosted service solution that allows small businesses to be always connected, always protected.

The new services are part of both the Trend Micro Worry-Free family, and its hosted security portfolio, giving channel partners breadth and depth of solutions for their customers. They are designed to help alleviate some of the cost, margin and product-reliability challenges channel partners face, especially in tough economic times.

Worry-Free Business Security Services sets up and installs in three easy steps so that a partner s cost of sale dramatically reduce. As a hosted solution, and through the benefits of Trend Micro Worry-Free Remote Manager, partners have the ability to provide on-going services at zero cost for multiple customers from one interface, explains Amit Nath, Country Manager, India & SAARC, Trend Micro.

Worry-Free Business Security Services has a central, web-based console that s hosted by Trend Micro so small business customers can monitor and manage their desktop, laptop and server security from anywhere.

Through these initiatives the company intends to ramp up protection for small business with mobile workforces.The USB Device Threat Prevention feature blocks threats whenever USB drives are used; the Wireless Network Prevention feature protects users against potential hackers while accessing an unknown wireless network.
