TVS-Electronics recently celebrated the completion of 10 years of leadership of its MSP245 dot matrix printer in the Indian market. The event was marked by roadshows in Delhi, Ludhiana and Indore.
With over 1,50,000 customers, the MSP245 enjoys the largest installed base of dot matrix printer users in the country, the company said.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Kumar, manager, channels, TVS-E, said, “MSP245 is by far the most robust and reliable platform in the printing industry in India today. We have over half-a-million consumers who will agree with us.”
The campaign was kicked off in Delhi, from where the MSP245 brigade traveled to Ludhiana and Indore. The north phase of the campaign ran for 18 days. It received an overwhelming response from channel partners with over 1,000 printers being sold within the campaign period, the company said.
The TVS-E stalls had representatives from the company who spread awareness among the customers and channel partners on the use of printers, suggesting the right kind of printers for different applications, and educating them about the factors to look at while buying a dot-matrix printer. The customers got an insight into the features and highlights of the popular MSP245.
More than 90 channel partners from Delhi, Ludhiana and Indore participated. On purchase of every MSP245, Proton Classic and any of the Champion series of printers, the partners, resellers and customers were given a set of dual Parker Pens worth Rs 145 free.
