In a move to expand its international operations, Veeam Software has set up new operation bases in the cities of New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, of which Mumbai will serve as its India headquarter.
The company claims that the new offices will complement its efforts to bank on new opportunities, soar its market penetration as well ensure an enhanced delivery response to its existing customers and partners.
Veeam has also said that its India revenue for the year 2015 soared by more than 50 percent on YoY basis. The enterprise revenue of the company further witnessed a 154 percent growth in the same period.
As per IT research firm Gartner, ”the Indian data centre infrastructure market will total $2 billion in 2016. Storage modernisation and consolidation, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery are some of the key drivers to this market, and they are likely to remain relevant drivers over the forecast period through 2019. This makes India a strategic growth market for Veeam globally.”
Veeam incepted its operations in India in the year 2011 and has been only operating through its channel partners since then.
”The company’s strategy is to use Veeam’s expert knowledge to give its ProPartners access to products and services that enable them to drive new business and revenue streams,” said Veeam.
