Multi-function printers enabled with the new Xerox ConnectKey™ controller among others
August 14, 2013: Xerox India, a part of Xerox Corporation, the world’s leading enterprise for business process and document management services, has introduced a series of multi-function printers (MFPs) enabled with the new Xerox ConnectKey™ controller that is designed to simplify how work gets done.
The newly introduced WorkCentre 7800 and 5800 ConnectKey MFP series is enabled with industry first embedded security protection from McAfee, giving IT managers more control and peace of mind in “bring your own device” (BYOD) workplaces. These devices also have an extra layer of security with Cisco’s TrustSec that protects data paths to and from the devices.
Some of the features of the new printer are it enables printing from cloud and mobile devices, true enabler of BYOD scenarios with outstanding security features and it also help workplaces of all sizes increase productivity and sustainability efforts. Other industry-first features according to the company are it can scan excel sheets directly in native excel editable formats & scan to searchable PDFs for easy retrieval, providing remote access of MFPs by technical experts for training & break-fix services for faster customer response time, connect-Key Apps- Users can download free Apps from Xerox Website directly on MFPs just like we do on our business phones and direct printing from iOS enabled devices (AirPrint Compatibility).
