ADATA Appoints KBC Computech as National Distributor in India

ADATA Technology, a provider of memory products, has roped in KBC Computech Pvt. Ltd as its national distributor. The New Delhi based IT distributor will facilitate the availability of ADATA range of SSDs across the country through its strong network of regional partners. This tie-up will help the company make ADATA SSDs accessible to wider audience and meet the growing demands in tier-1, tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

“ADATA is a globally reputed provider of memory products. The demand for SSDs is growing very fast worldwide and in India-annual demand for SSDs is three times more than what it was in 2017. And it is expected to grow further in the coming years. We have a wide range of SSDs for gaming and other purposes. We are going to launch many new SSD models in the coming months,” said Charles Wei, Country Head India & SAARC at ADATA.

“We are currently at Number 3 in India for providing SSDs and we want to move up to No 2 position in the coming years. We are glad that we appointed KBC Computech as our National Distributor for India for our SSDs. We are sure that this association will help us to grow to the next level in the Indian SSD market,” he added.

Sachin Sharma, National Head – India at ADATA Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd. believes that it is a win-win situation that we are targeting to achieve with our new GTM strategy.

Recently the Taipei-based manufacture of high performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash storage application products and accessories had announced two products ADATA SC680 & Ultimate SU650 M.2 2280. SC680 is an external SSD that features a compact form factor for easy portability and implements the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface for excellent read and write performance. Ultimate SU650 M.2 2280, on the other hand, is a SATA SSD Equipped with 3D TLC Flash memory, the SSD offers up to 480 GB of capacity and sports read/write speeds of up to 550/510MB/s.

The company also supports intelligent SLC caching and features low-density parity-check (LDPC) error correcting code technology for enhanced performance and data integrity. Sporting an M.2 2280 form factor the SU650 is ideal for both laptop and desktop PCs and does away with the connection of cumbersome cables during installation.
