A study from Juniper Research says that Ultrabook shipments will reach 178 million by 2016, growing at three times the rate of tablets.

Worldwide PC shipment growth for 2011 ended on a slightly positive note, growing to 1.8 percent on the year.

The research firm says that PC shipments will grow 4.4 percent in 2012 as the market plays catch up in bringing a new level of innovation that consumers want to see in devices they purchase.
