Meta Infotech Has Big Expansion Plans In 2017-18
Mumbai headquartered Meta Infotech claims it has mastered the art of client-satisfaction and retained 100% of its clients and their confidence since 2001. A leading service provider of network security service and infrastructure services, the company has key clientele across several industrial verticals across the country. In a quick chat with ChannelTimes, Venu Gopal Peruri, Founder and CEO, Meta Infotech, shares his company’s expansion plan in the year ahead.
CT : Despite being a lead player in the market, you confined yourself in four vast categories. Was it a cautious call? If not, any plans on expanding vertical-wise?
Venu Gopal: It was a cautious call as we did not want to promote everything under the sun. We project ourselves as niche solution player and large enterprises respect our decision and consider Meta for all their large IT security related projects.
Until now, we were providing IT security solutions on the perimeter level but by the virtue of Symantec buy out of Bluecoat we will be providing end point security solutions starting April.
CT: You are currently present in Mumbai, physically. How are you seamlessly executing deployments across the country, when it comes to a national-wide project?
Venu Gopal: With all the latest technology available to us today an organization can execute any kind of projects across the world from one location. A classic example is one of the large enterprise customer where we implemented Proxy solution a 18 different physical locations and 22 virtual locations. Technology has no boundaries.
CT: What are the kind of vendors you would like to partner with?
Venu Gopal: This April we are partnering with Symantec, Checkpoint, Smoke Screen and FireEye.
CT: What are the milestones achieved and the key plans for the forthcoming financial year.
Venu Gopal: We have achieved a 50% growth in our turnover and 50% growth in our profits in the current fiscal. Now, we are planning for geographical expansion. We are expanding with new offices in two other locations- Bangalore and Delhi.
CT: What are your key industry verticals? Are you planning to add any in your portfolio?
Venu Gopal: We are very strong in BFSI , IT and we will continue to add more customers in these vertical. We will also add public sector companies in the list and manage a total of 75 enterprise customers.
