Ex Samsung Moninder Jain to Join Logitech

Setting all speculations to rest, it is now confirmed from reliable sources that Moninder Jain, the erstwhile Samsung official, will be joining Logitech as the new country manager. Jain will be replacing Rahul Bindal, who left Logitech in June for better prospects.

p____p Jain left Samsung last month after a tenure of five years. Earlier, he was tipped to join Microsoft, but further investigations by ChannelTimes suggested that he will be joining Logitech.

p____p Though Logitech officials refused to comment on the appointment, the company is expected to officially announce the selection in Mumbai next week.

p____p Jain, currently travelling abroad, when contacted did not deny that he was going to join Logitech, but said, “I can’t say anything at this point of time. I will be in India shortly and only then I will be in a position to comment on the same.’

p____p At Samsung, Jain was responsible for various important activities at different stages including as marketing head. In January 2004, he was allotted the responsibility as value division head, to look after the overall market development for printers, TFT monitors, NotePCs and the recently introduced digicams and MP3 players.

p____p Jain gained popularity amongst the channel as he played a fundamental role in the development of Samsung in the Indian market.
